Responsibilities
As a quantitative researcher you will:
Research mathematical and machine learning models used for detecting opportunities in markets, predicting market behavior, and quantifying risk
Devise, implement and improve algorithms to benefit from these opportunities.
Collaborate with other researchers and engineers on the deployment of strategies in live trading
Come up with automated methods to continuously monitor strategies in the real world and optimize their performance over time
Contribute to the company's data strategy, research platform and tools
Requirements
Summa cum laude B.Sc. in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
Strong mathematical and statistical skills
3+ years of experience in machine learning / data mining / statistical research / algorithmic research
2+ years of experience in Algo-Trading
Great analytical problem-solving skills
Experience performing data science in Python
Good software engineering capabilities
A creative, innovative, self-learning, independent pro
A team player and good communicator that empowers others and is eager to learn and collaborate
Bonus Qualifications
Advanced degree in a relevant field
Strong programming experience in a leading language, especially for large-scale, distributed, low latency systems
Background in blockchain infrastructure or applications, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, etc.
Experience working with cloud services such as AWS.
